Are my PDFs uploaded to a server?

No. Merging happens entirely in your browser using the pdf-lib JavaScript library — your files never leave your device.

Can I change the order of the PDFs before merging?

Yes — use the up and down arrows next to each file to reorder them. The merged PDF follows the order shown in the list, top to bottom.

Is there a limit to how many PDFs I can merge?

No hard limit is enforced, but very large files or a large number of PDFs may be slower to process since everything runs in your browser's memory.

Will merging affect the quality of my PDFs?

No — pages are copied directly from the source PDFs without re-rendering or re-compressing, so text, images and formatting stay exactly as they were.
